Treatment of Endometriosis

​Endometriosis is a disease where the cells originating from the lining inside your uterus (endometrium) implant outside the uterine cavity, most commonly in the walls of your pelvis. This may account for the very painful menses that can be quite debilitating for some women.  It can also be a root cause for dyspareunia, which is painful intercourse. Endometriosis can lead to internal scarring & adhesions which, besides causing chronic pelvic pain, can make becoming pregnant extremely difficult.
