Infertility

​Infertility is defined as actively trying to conceive for 12 months without success. There may be many factors involved with both female and male causes. An initial work-up can be performed in the office with a full history & physical, blood testing, and imaging studies such a hysterosalpingogram to check the patency of your fallopian tubes. Some patients may be candidates for conservative management via the fertility medication Clomid before attempting assisted reproductive technology (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
