Labor & Delivery

​Our doctor performs the delivery of your infant at Mount Sinai West Hospital in the Labor & Delivery Suite. You will only be admitted to the hospital when you need to be, meaning that in many instances admission may not need to be rushed, especially if you elect to experience the early parts of labor at home. Conversely, in regards to pain management, you may choose to be admitted earlier for the administration of IV narcotics or an epidural if you so desire. We believe it is never too early or never too late to request for an epidural and that this decision is made wholly by the patient.

​The doctor's job is to provide patients with the tools to manage their own labor and the ability to embrace the entire experience. Every patient and every labor is unique, but each should end with a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
